Hi,
Nice to see your opinions.. I Never said I'm young enough and stopped there. It's "I'm young enough to...". Please read between the lines relating to the 'age 17' factor :)
It's not that a fresher is weak. I'm strongly against that opinion.

Regards,
Markish.

Hi Markish,
Really a good thought...I also agree that... but how could we change this? How the HR policies can be changed. Even for that discussion (reg some HR policies), the freshers (considered as freshers according to their policies) are not allowed...
and another one, at the end of the article, why you have asked as 'Am I young?'. if you can think about the Age factor and talk about the freshers ie., you got enough thinking to talk about the age factor... then why do you think still you are young? that is itself a weakness for the freshers to tackle a task.. just thinking themselves as young and not experienced... I am not telling about everyone. some fresher friends used to do.

But really a good article.. one of the thought not only in my mind, most of the young IT people have...
Go Ahead...

Regards and Warm wishes
Maragathavalli

Markish, Good take this on hierarchies in IT..
The Indian IT Middle management is rotten to the Core..its partly due to the HR policies of growth(hierarchical again) and partly due to the Old worlds Belief of CONTROL...when the whole world has shunned this and started believing in co-operate and collaborate the INDIAN management is still to wake up on this...
However, in a positive sense i would Praise the Management for their Over-Control resulting in many Young entrepreneurs (Most of the IT entrepreneurs are Freshers dejected at their job in some reputed firm or university drop outs)...
